The beginning of a new school year is nearly upon us, and that means Orientation! It is strongly recommended that all Parents and Students make every effort to attend. This year's orientation is on Thursday evening, August 14th, at 7 PM.
Some things you should know before orientation: - Class supply lists are included in the letter we sent home to every student so you may have time to do your shopping. If you have not received your letter by Wednesday, August 6th please call the Academy offices.
- Summer reading assignments should be completed by the first day of school. (Reading lists are also included in the letter.)
- School uniforms, PE uniforms and daily planners will be available for purchase at orientation for those who have not already done so.
- Uniforms that are already paid for will be available for pick-up at orientation.
- Orders will be taken for additional shirts or PE uniforms. (Price list also included in the letter we have sent home.)
- Students assigned to the Upper Learning Center or the High School class will meet with Mrs. Vick, Mrs. Bovine and Mrs. Faulk after the general meeting to hear the plans for those students for the coming year. At this time you will receive student projections and the opportunity to select a diploma option.
God has truly been busy helping us prepare the way for our students to experience the best educational opportunities, positive environment and spiritual growth that we can possibly provide. We believe God has brought each of you to us that we might partner together to produce educationally sound and spiritually aware citizens of the United States of America and most importantly God's Kingdom here on earth God bless you and we look forward to a rewarding school year.
