Now that Tropical Storm Faye has come and gone, it is necessary to adjust our school calendar to compensate for the lost time. As a result the storm days on November 10th, and December 18th and 19th will no longer be days off but will be scheduled in-session school days. We have made the appropriate adjustments to our online school calendar and will be sure to update you should any further changes be required. |

As we continue to track the progress and development of Tropical Storm Faye our school administration has elected, along with the Duval County Public Schools system to remain closed Friday as well. As always our primary concern is for the safety of our student body and their families. Please stay tuned to local news agencies for updates on the storm and severe weather advisories. New Beginnings Christian Academy, in conjunction with this evening's decision by the Mayor and the Duval County School Board to suspend school sessions and activities for Wednesday and Thursday, will be closed Wednesday, August 20th and Thursday August 21st. As always our first concern is for the safety of our students and this prudent decision by our local city officials is in keeping with our own determination to ensure the safety of all our families and their students. |
